Sign as myself - before and after - the other person / Sign twice as myself at 2 different times

Hi, I'm looking for a way to sign a document as myself twice in three step doc. control sequence, summarized here...

Signature 1 (Myself/Doc control) = I approve the document for review

Signature 2 (Manager) = The manager reviews the document and approves it.

Signature 3 (Myself/Doc control) = I confirm the Manager's signature is present and approve the document for release.

All signatures are in the same document, ideally. I can approve the document myself the first time easily, the manager can approve easily too. It's my second time I try and sign that things get tripped up. The emailed link requests that I log in again, and asks for a new signature.

Another way to handle this would be for me to be able to sign the same document twice, at two different times.

There are a number of work arounds for this (send the version approved by the manger to myself - whih creates an complicated audit trail, create another email address for myself, etc.). Is there is a way to stage this sequence of approvals in one process? Thanks!

Thanks for the response. This workaround appears similar to email-based work around I'm now using; In my case I cc myself, and then log in using another browser for adding second signature using a saved image; the other bowser (firefox /MS Edge) avoids having to log out if I'm moving through approvals quickly. Both run through my email address and there is full tracability, so there shouldn't be compliance issues (but you don't know until you're auditied, I suppose). It's not ideal, but as our Dropbox workflow doesn't seem to fit well with how Adobe sees things working, it will do for now.

Hi,

In the mobile app, and this may be also true for the desktop version in Acrobat and Reader, make sure that first all your signature fields are created and positioned where you want them in your PDF document.

Save the form, and then open the Adobe Sign tool.

The slides below show an example using Adobe Sign in my mobile device.

The first one , show the Adobe Sign opened, you can select your document, then proceed to add the signing recipients

When adding recipients you don't need to click on the "Add me" option.

Just add the first recipient like shown below

And select ID verification (email or password)

Note : If it is just you, just select

password ID verification, then repeat the step above as many times you need.

To add yourself again you have to click Done, which will bring you back to the main landing page.

Click on Add Recipients again and repeat process for the next recipient.

The adobe sign gives you the option of opening your Contacts in your mobile device or your Address Book from your PC if using the desktop or macOS version.

Again, since this part of the process is just for yourself, you can also switch of the option to complete the signing in the order listed

When your document is sent via Adobe sign it will let you fill any required fields that will be detected by the app, and then it will jump into the signing part.

I hope this work around helps.

NOTE: This same procedure works if you choose the option to Sign in Person
