Cannot upload video file to Adobe Express Web App

Community Beginner ,
Jul 22, 2025 Jul 22, 2025

I'm having issues uploading video from my laptop to Adobe express web app. I have tried on 3 different laptops and same issue. It just hangs trying. I am able to select the file, but it just gets stuck trying to open. I've tried regular upload, I've tried uploading via trim video quick actions but after selecting the file, it just hangs. I've tried different files that I know are ok, but nothing. It was working yesterday, but not today

Hi @ruthp36256461, Welcome to our Adobe Express community!

This shouldn't be happening. Have you tried switching to a different internet connection to see if that makes any difference? I tried uploading videos from my device to both project canvas and the quick action settings, and it worked fine for me. You may also want to check once in private/incognito browsing mode.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Amitej

Hi Amitej,

I have tried incognito mode and another internet connection, and I get the same issue. However, I tried using another account - a free one- and I don't have the issue. It looks like it's only happening on my premuim account. I'm not sure what went wrong. I'm currently using about 66GB out of 100GB for the premium account. Any thoughts?

Also happening to me. Sent in a screen recording to customer support and they are trying to get it fixed. If I sign out, it will take a file upload, analyze and generate captions then make me sign up or sign in. Once I sign it, it starts bugging out and it won't let me download.

This is also happening to me.

I've cleared cache, restarted my laptop, tried a different laptop, switched browsers, tried incognito mode, tried the desktop app, tried different video files (even one I've had success with in the past)...nothing.

I'm trying to upload a video to caption and whenever I select any file it is stuck on 'Loading Media' with a spinning circle and does not progress further. This is a brand new laptop and the internet connection is fine, I've checked.

Hi everyone! Thanks for sharing the details. We've shared this internally to look into and once there is more information to share on this, we'll let you know.

Additionally, I tried uploading videos in both the project canvas and under the 'Caption video' quick action, and it seems to work fine for me, but we are investigating this.

Feel free to share any observations or screen recordings with us, that might help in the investigation.

Thanks!

Amitej

Same is happening to me. Adobe Exp online allowed me to upload 2 small videos once I signed out (but I needed to sign in to combine). Once I sign in, it just spins. Tried on 2 different devices and 2 different browsers (chrome and DDG). Rebooted everything, cleared caches, etc.

Hi @ @Deckiedoo1441, @ruthp36256461! Thanks for confirming that it's working fine for you now. You may still want to clear the cache/cookies of the browser once.

Best!

Same problem.  I had it about a week ago, around when this thread started, it 'fixed' but now it's back again.

Can't upload a video.

Infuriating.  I put out a video a day as content and the last two days I've been unable.

Please rectify this basic functionality.
