Cut out not working

I have been merrily cutting out images today but suddenly this message began appearing. I have closed and opened programme but nothing seems to change this message on this particular photo. Thoughts on what I can do please?

Is it Remove Background that gives the error? Have you tried a different image since to see if it is just that particular image I've tried a few image myself this morning and there doesn't seem to be a problem. 

 

I know it's a pain but the goold old clearout of cache and cookies, restarting the browser and signing in again may do the trick. You say you've been doing a quite lot of cutting out, so maybe your computer just needs a restart to refresh itself.

If it's happening on a specific image (as @thejanebradbury asked), could you check that it's not a WebP file (file extension .webp)?

We have a known bug removing background for a class of such files.
