Text box resizing instead of extending

Hi team! I noticed a bug where every time I have a text box and I want to expand the text frame, the text size also increases. This happened after I used the add-on "Bulk Create and Generate." I tried adding a new text layer and I was able to extend and contract the text box width without the text resizing. So, I think the bug may be related to after the add-on is applied.

PROBLEMS WITH TEXT BOXES:

(1) The font size is being affected when attempting to extend or shorten the length of a text box. The action I am taking is pulling the vertical bar on the ends of the text box left or right - I am not dragging the corner point of the box to resize the text box along the diagonal (which would normally resize the font with the text box). The resizing font effect just began for me and it is rendering the alignment guides useless for centering text within the post because the text box is not an accurate size for the text.

(2) Text box is not auto-wrapping the text line of type so the box just keeps getting longer and, due to the issue mentioned in item #1, the text box length cannot be shortened without reducing the font size so you must place hard line breaks into your text. Ludicrous and time wasting.

Is Adobe trying to lose clients? I have been a client for years and exclusively used Adobe Express for one year for social content creation and posting. Thinking of shopping competitor packages because these time consuming issues seem to be growing and impacting my ability to conduct business at the standard I expect. 

This needs to be corrected.

We're sorry to hear about this. Is it happening on every document or any specific one? Can you share a screen recording of the issue? I tried to reproduce but it seems to work fine for me. Did you try using the other suggested browsers (Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Google Chrome) to see if it makes a difference?

@Jennifer33605755onq5 did you also add this text using the "Bulk Create and Generate" mechanism? I can't replicate the issue with the default text ("Add your new text")
