Adobe Spark Pages Transfer to another User?

New Here ,
Jul 15, 2025 Jul 15, 2025

We use Adobe for business and have a team administration. Adobe Spark Pages were created for customers with user “A” a long time ago. User “A” is now on parental leave and an account has been created with user “B” for the replacement. Since licenses must be assigned to a person. User “A” was therefore deactivated. Now the Spark Pages dosnt work anymore. We were asked whether the data should be retained. I answered yes to this. I no longer remember whether I specified a user specifically. According to customer support, the data should then end up with the contractual partner. I can't find any Spark Pages there, but I also don't know where exactly to look for them. Does this cloud data transfer also affect the Spark Pages? And if so, where can I find the data, if not, can I still access the Spark Pages with a deactivated user? And how can I transfer them to another user?

Hi @jasmin_9522,

Thank you for reaching out.

Based on your query, it appears that Spark Pages created by "User A" are no longer accessible following the deactivation of their account during parental leave. You’d like to know whether these pages can be recovered or transferred to another user within Adobe Express.

Hi @jasmin_9522, Glad to hear the instructions helped and you could download the data!

Since the files are downloaded in .express format, you'd need to drag and drop them to the Files tab in the Creative Cloud Desktop app. Once you do so, the files will be displayed in Adobe Express.

Let us know how it goes.

Best,

Amitej

If your organization is using Adobe Storage for Business, then user accounts and their associated content are owned by the organization. When a user leaves the organization or their account is deleted, the associated assets can be transferred to another user through the Adobe Admin Console.

When a user is removed, their folder is moved to the Inactive Users section, which can be accessed via Admin Console > Storage. You can refer to the following documentation for detailed steps on asset reclamation:

Please note: For Adobe Express files, asset reclamation is only applicable to files created after August 16, 2023.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,
^AN

Hi @Anshul_Nautiyal

Thank you very much.

Your explanation helped me a lot. I followed the instructions and now probably have the data. I was able to download it. I now have a folder with this data on my PC. I assume the .express files are the old Spark Pages? How do I activate them now in Adobe Express? Or can I open them there? When importing, Adobe Express tells me that it does not support the data format.

Thank you very much and have a good start into the new week
