It's horrible!  I can't access my images and when I do, they are so distorted and poor quality I can't use them.  I've never seen such a crappy update be launched.

Has anyone found any solutions for this yet? I know Abhi.G @ ADBE is working on trying to resolve it. But this delay is impacting my projects now. 

Are others continuing to suffer from these same issues of being unable to open older projects (before the update) and being unable to download newer projects (after the update)?

I would like to share that my issue is now resolved and Adobe Express is working faultlessly. A big thank you to Abhi.G @ ADBE for being patient, supportive and closely involved in the entire resolution process. Could not have done it without your help.

Just the close the loop on this, the issue that @Vineet_Mani was running into was not specific to conversion; all files (new or old) would hang on open.

If others are running into this, specifically on a work network, please have your network admin check that there isn't a network proxy that is:

• blocking access to the endpoints listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html
• disallowing the secure WebSocket protocol i.e. wss://
• stripping any HTTP headers (like Sec-WebSocket-Key) required for WebSocket handshake

this new version sucks.. i can't access any old project 😞 😞 at least yours gives a message, in my case, i see nothing despite clicking download! I'velost all old file and cannot access/ edit them, what a compelete waste of time!

I have many projects made with the old version and now when i open them on beta....there is a strange conversion!!!

The objects are not arranged as they shoul be. Letters are no more in the same positions or curved as they were.

How can we open projects and have the same arrangement as it was in the older version?

It sounds like the file you don't see was created in the previous version of Adobe Express (judging by the 3–4 months comment). In that case, please refer to https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-express-discussions/old-express-files-gone/m-p/14016699#M10937

When you say you can't access the files, do you mean you don't see them in https://new.express.adobe.com/your-stuff/files?

Or that you encouter an error or some unexpected behavior when you try to open them?

folders and designs are deleted after updates 

Hi, we opend adobe express after 4 month. But we don't find all our folders and designs after the updates. Some should be in a folder named "Original" but this folder only includes 5 designs. We got a shortly information during the update session of the creative cloud today, that over 200 datas/content/assets are deleted. Could it be that Adobe deleted our folders and content. Who coud help us here? It´s really urgendly!!!!

hi Abhi, after a day of waiting, the (rather large) file downloaded. Is there a way i can edit and re use this? It's time consuming to start from scratch on some projects v/s quick fixes and updates that are needed.. hence the question, thanks!

For most files migrated from the previous version, editing is supported. The only exception I know of is Spark Video files (https://helpx.adobe.com/in/express/kb/adobe-spark-video-page-included-adobe-express.html)

However, based on "after a day of waiting, the (rather large) file downloaded" it sounds like that may be the kind of file your have 😞
