Certain fields are planted with different crops, I want to fill in these paddocks in different colours ie: paddock 31 & 29 are Chickpeas and need to be coloured orange, paddocks 26 & 24 are Wheat and need to be coloured blue etc. I have never used this program before, so have no idea how to do this.
Photoshop Elements can do it easy, using the paint bucket tool.

Just to add to the Photoshop suggestion (whether using Elements or Full Photoshop), I'd suggest sellecting each block to fill with the colour of your choice and fill over the text (like 23 231 ha). Best to add them back in as text in a new layer. That will ensure the best quality.
