I hope this helps:
Hey, we are sorry about the removal of shapes in the existing Adobe Express app, however many shapes are available in the new version of Adobe Express on mobile. You can get access here:

The only one I can answer with any degree of certainty is #3: on the currently shipping mobile apps, there isn't a way to copy content from one project to another. You can only copy from one page to another within a project. (You can always duplicate an entire project, but I don't think that's what you are looking for).
As for #1, are you wondering about the timelines for a non-beta version of the mobile app, or would you ok with a fairly full-featured beta as well? And one more question: are you specifically looking for something for iPad? Or does iPhone work?
Thanks
Abhi G

Thanks so much for the quick reply!
On #1, I would be fine with a more fully-featured beta version if it has the "shapes" library. I'm happy to provide feedback in your beta process (in particular, I'm always glad to provide feedback as a user with a motor skills disability).
In terms of devices...
I have a set-up for an iPad, but not iPhone. I also have a set-up for an android phone. So either platform (iPad or Android phone) with a more fully functional shapes library would work.
In terms of features...
I primarily make original info-graphics using solid color backgrounds, text, "shapes," and original photos (ie, I only occasionally use the Adobe photo library) . I don't use the AI, gif, or video features. I only make still images in Adobe Express at this time (though I sometimes use Adobe Spark).
Thanks for your help.

In addition to Jane's suggestion, it can make a difference whether you use Adobe Express on a computer in a browser or the mobile app version.
Adobe made some recent changes to the mobile app version for shapes/icons, please see this article for details:

It has been very frustrating trying to make new worksheets for my 3rd grade class without the large cataloge of icons and shapes. I have used the mobile version of this app, as I do not have a laptop, for 3 years now and immensely enjoyed it! Now it is very disappointing. Are we going to regain access to all that we had before?? And as a free version?

Wow this is so disappointing. I have been using Adobe Express for a couple years and I generally use it 2-3 times a week to create quick thumbnails for livestream videos. I always loved the huge collection of useful shapes and over the last month having those disappear has been really frustrating. I understand that Adobe has "updated" this feature, however this is a distinct downgrade. I also understand that I could use express on my laptop, but the whole point is to make a super quick thumbnail... EXPRESS... it's literally part of the name.
I have limped through the past couple weeks but decided this week just to use Canva. While I do also pay for canva pro, the reality is that the FREE version of canva would be more useful to me than a paid Adobe product at this point.
I have attached one of the monthly schedules I created at the end of last year when I still had use of all the shapes (February schedule) versus the one I just created in Canva (June schedule)... while I do prefer the monochromatic, flat vector version I made in Express it really doesn't matter what COLOR I can make things, or how SIMPLE the vector image is if I have a pathetic handful of shapes to choose from. Period. So, cmon. Give us the stupid shapes back.
I know this seems dramatic, but I've been using Adobe for 22 years and ever since the subscription model came out and we quit being able to outright own the product, I have slowly become less and less happy with the quality. When you don't own a product, and instead are just a subscriber, the distributor can decide to take away an established and integrated feature, and you have no recourse. As more and more powerful alternatives have come on the market the value of Adobe has meant less in my eyes. Most of the Adobe programs I use can be replaced, but I was an Adobe Stan because it was streamlined and useful... but at this point I feel like it's just wasting my time and money with these dumb changes that detract from my experience as a user.
Pictures speak louder than words. I need shapes, but I apparently don't need Adobe.

The shapes catalog which used to be the main reason I would use the mobile app was gone, searching for things like "squiggle" or "modern" etc has no results. The only shapes in both the ipad app, and on the website "new version" on desktop are VERY basic shapes with about 10 results from each category. The search does not find any of the previous shapes I had used in my projects so now I am totally out of luck and unable to finish them!
Adobe Please put them back that was the main feature I used to create designs quickly. I am dissapointed as I pay for the full product CC subscription too.
Thank you

The reason I purchased a subscription last month was because of the icon library and the ease of editing on an iPad. To find all the useful icons missing overnight was frustrating, to say the least. I would like to request that at least credit be applied to any accounts that are paying for a subscription while unable to access the full features.

This is extremely frustrating. I relied heavily on thought balloons and a myriad of other shapes. All of a sudden acccess is gone. I pay monthly for the mobile account, and I feel much of the value is gone. I may have to go back to Canva.

I have the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite and utilize eight different programs and apps regularly. I used Adobe Express everyday, multiple times a day to create for social media, graphic layouts, logos, video and presentation graphics. The limiting of the Shapes feature has rendered the app almost useless. It is not just the my most used app but the central Adobe product that informs and adds to all other Adobe apps/program projects I work on daily. It is affecting my ability to brand, communicate and sell.

ADOBE EXPRESS - ELMINATED THE BLACK AND WHITE CLIP ART THAT I USED FOR A TON OF THINGS ON MY MOBILE APP. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. NOW I HAVE TO BE SITTING AT A DESKTOP COMPUTER TO OBTAIN HALF OF THE SHAPES THAT WERE THERE, STILL MISSING TONS ON THE DESKTOP APP - YES I LOOKED UNDER ELEMENTS AND ICONS - STILL MISSING TONS. I USED THE BLACK AND WHITE CLIP-ART A TON FOR MY PROJECTS IN THE MOBILE APP. I'M LOST WITHOUT THEM. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY MADE SUCH A DRASTIC CHANGE. PLEASE BRING BACK THE BLACK AND WHITE CLIP-ART - I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED THEY ADDED TO IT, NOT TAKE IT AWAY.

This is a nightmare for me - I am a regular user of the black and white clip art via my phone app which I prefer over having to sit at a desk all the time to do my work. Maybe add a functionality that we can change the colored icons and pictures to a black and white clear and concise clip art in adobe express or please add all of the clip art back. I am an apple I phone user - icons are not in there either -as I hear people say look there - they are not in there under elements. For example I used to be able to find a ton of clip art of horses, cows, deer, etc... now only a few if any at all - none.
