Adobe express used to have tens of thousands of "shapes" that were incredibly useful to kickstart designs, especially when imported into illustrator. The new version only has 121 shapes in total. Are they going to restored later?
Hi there - my name is Vic and I'm a Product Manager on the Adobe Express team. We recently replaced all our icons with hundreds of thousands of Adobe Stock icons, although they're only available on Adobe Express Desktop (new.express.adobe.com) and our Adobe Express mobile beta (there is a waitlist on iOS, but anyone on Android can download the app and use it immediately). There are more details specifically about the Mobile Beta here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-express-discussions/new-adobe-express-mobile-beta-app-is-here/td-p/14473487
Hello! Below I've pasted the instructions I sent to a user earlier in this thread, on how to locate the Adobe Stock icons. All our icons have transparent backgrounds, so you don't need to worry about that!
In the mobile beta app, if you open up the editor experience / canvas, click + in the corner, go to Elements, and then scroll right within those Elements tabs, then you will see "Icons". There, we have hundreds of thousands of transparent icons powered by Adobe Stock, with more being added o

I'm not sure how to download the Beta App, but I have already downloaded the Adobe express app. I was really confused about why they were taken away. Is it for an update or do we have to download a new app or something. If so, I could not find the app.

And If I got this right, the iPad version isn't here yet...correct?

Correct, the iPad version of the Adobe Express mobile beta app is not yet available -- but the team is actively working on it, tablet support is coming! Thanks so much for your patience and for your willingness to try out the Adobe Express mobile beta. Please feel free to share your thoughts and feedback once you do use it. Happy creating!

The Adobe Express mobile beta app is actually a separate app store listing as of now! Check out instructions for iOS (waitlist) and Android (no waitlist, you can get started right away) by going to this link: https://helpx.adobe.com/express/using/express-mobile-beta.html

I've faithfully paid the annual subscription for roughly 5 years now. Because you all decided to remove the icons and make a waiting listing for the new version I will be cancelling and giving my money to Canva now. Not sure what the motivation was to do this but it seems like there's 0 upside to it. Enjoyed the software while it was useful, not anymore though.

Unfortunately, only a portion of the previously available shapes gallery has been ported to the new version. I sincerely hope that Adobe is actively workingo n retoring them all. It doesn't seem quite right to degrade such a valuable asset.

Hi there! My name is Vic Chen, I'm a product manager on the Adobe Express team. In the previous version of Adobe Express, we offered "Shapes & Icons" in one spot together. In the latest version, we have a separate basic "Shapes" tab, as well as an "Icons" tab. Shapes includes simple shapes like triangles, squares, circles; Icons includes several hundred thousand transparent assets that are much more detailed and cover a broad range of what our users most commonly search. Please let me know if that helps at all! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. --Vic
