Tried to make a word in colorful teddy plush but it says me it is against the guidelines.

So I tried to say fur instead. That worked but didn't give me the result I wanted.

Hi,

you can't use any type of language that can be potentially offensive to anybody. That's not homophobic or any other obic thing. Thats as stated exactly as it says for safety reasons. You always can and should try to rephrase the words something like "two loving girls holding hands in space" or something like that. Hope that helps.

regards,
Henrik

Blister packaging for example is a very typical form of packaging for medicine, toys and others, but the word blister is banned, the word-ban system is not working on a context or understanding but working on an arbitrary usage. This will clearly set Firefly behind the other options out there.

If we are a monthly subrsciber and a designer we should be able to use anyword we want especially if we will be paying for this service that restricts us. The banning of words does not stop from finding alternative text to generate images that would "Go against the guiedlines", but as others have mentioned there are too many retrictions and safety issues on words there should not be, Although I think Firefly is pretty awesome I find it better to use other AI image generators (some of which are totatlly free) to generate the words to images just as I want. These restrictions do not work anyhow as I have been able to generate dang near pornographic scenes using firefly (not becuase I wanted to but because I don't like being restricted and I wanted to see if I can make firefly produce it.) I agree hatefull terms should not be allowed but these restrictions are ridiculous and will definitly not put Adobe at the forefront, I think firefly will actually be left behind due to the restrictions at the pace AI generative text is developing. I hope Adobe eases on up this retrictive freedom.

This is my first time using Firefly and I keep getting this "violation" warning. I don't know which word it is, this seems simple enough!! I tried the same thing in Midourney with no issues. Didn't get what I wanted but still. What is the issue?

If Adobe doesn't remove these silly guidline violations they will bet left behind in the AI image generation race. There are already other alternative were you can get the result you want without having to tip toe thru Adobes dictionary.

Fully one third of my attempts to create images in firefly result in absurd, ultra-woke, deranged, politically correct censorship. And that's using words as innocuous as yours. It looks as though a few Millennials at Adobe found themselves with some unexpected POWER in making up the banned list and they have gone stark raving mad with it. There are 171,000 words in the English language. I think Adobe thinks 162,000 of them are obscene. What sheltered lives they must have lead. It's time their shareholders revolted because they are NOT being represented sanely. This is ludicrous. No way on earth I would pay for this.

Apparently, no, we are not safe from being banned, and when it happens there is no notification, or explanation from anyone. My beta version stopped working a few weeks ago but I wasn't sure why. I was able to sign up under an old Adobe ID but I'm not a CC customer on that account. When the app went live, I was asked to buy credits on the old account. Went to the other account where I pay for CC and when I went to Firefly I got an error about it not being available in my region (Georgia, USA) but after using CHAT the representative told me my access had been rovoked for violating the terms of use and that I probably used some inappropriate words. I was very disappointed at how this was handled. I have appealed to get access back. I've used Adobe products for more than 25 years.

I uploaded a photo and wanted  a different background. It was a portrait of a woman fully clothed with cleavage showing. It was rejected for violating community standards. I asked for a review and heard nothing, of course.

I want to know why this photo was rejected.

Your answer does nothing to answer my question. I added a photo that "violated community standards" and I want to know WHY! I really don't think this violates any reasonable community standards. Please LOOK at the photo I uploaded and tell my why it violates community standards. I'd be happy to upload it again if necessary.

OK, let's try this again. I'm not getting an answer to my problem.

I wanted to play with a photo I had trouble with before. This time I selected the woman, inverted the selection, and asked to put dancers in the limited background available. It worked. But I wanted more space around her. So I started over. This time I used the crop tool and brought out the sides and top to have more room around her. This time it rejected my "request." I've asked for a review. I've requested a review of a different photo a week ago and, of course, heard nothing. What's the point of a review that doesn't get reviewed.

It's simply a woman in a dress leaning forward, so there's cleavage. Unless the community standard is conservative and only burkas are allowed I don't think I've violated any reasonable American standards.

I'd really like an answer/review of this specific photo.

I've been having so many issues with this right here. I work in the cannabis industry where I use Adobe products to create my designs, and for some reason, even though the most things cannabis in the United States, are legal, I still can't generate anything related to it. It is very frustrating and almost makes you not want to use these products that I'm paying for because it's not generating things that I could use for my workflowwhich ends up being my income that I used to pay for my Adobe software.

Censorship sucks.  I just can't take Firefly seriously because of the blatant, pointless censorship that's embedded in the algorithm.  Midjourney is laughing hilariously at Adobe.  Fact.
