An image captured with Adobe Scan and saved to a .pdf, is automatically uploaded to the Adobe Document Cloud. Is this capture and upload secure and safe for PII? If so, please explain how Adobe makes the process safe for PII protection. Thank you.

The scan is saved in your Document Cloud. That can be open with your Adobe credentials only, thus it is safe and secure.

Adobe Scan saves the documents as PDF in the Adobe Document Cloud. You may check your saved files over here, Open the link Adobe Document Cloud.
