Adobe Scan "Share a Copy" now has automated text and adobe scan app link - how to turn this off

I have used adobe scan to scan and send PDFs without the links for years.

I click share, then "share a copy" to avoid sharing a link, as usually this just attaches the pdf to the bottom of the email without automated text or a link. 

Now it is coming up with this message in the email body, and in the email subject: 

"Created and shared using Adobe Scan. Get the app: https://adobescan.app.link/getapp"

This is BEYOND ANNOYING. 

How can I turn this off please?

The file-sharing issue has been fixed with the latest version. 

Please update the application and let us know if that works.

It's now the last of February 2024, and there is still no "fix".  I imagine Adobe does not think they need to fix this. I know this message can be deleted each time I share a scan, but what a pain.  For me, this is sufficient to look for another Scan app, and soon, if this is not 'resolved'!

The text has already been removed. 

 

Can you please share a screenshot of what you see when sharing the file? This will help us raise this to the dev team for further investigation.

 

Also, would you mind updating the app to the latest version?

Still not fixed on Android. The message is different now and doesn't have the link, but its still there.

 

Halfway fixing it, but still not is almost worse.

We have removed the entire promotional message, which had the download link.

This is still an issue - generic link is sent and file not shared.

If you refer to the promo text, it has been disabled already.

 

If this is not what you refer to, please share a screen recording of what you see for better understanding and assistance.

I just used the app and it appears the subject line and body text are no longer there.  It's a Thanksgiving miracle!!!

 the fact that adobe will blatantly lie to their user base is amazing to me. FIX THIS ISSUE ITS SIMPLE REMOVE THE DAMN TEXT FROM THE TITLE AND BODY.

So obviously you don't care about your customer base and will continue to mislead them FOR MONTHS about fixing an issue. Attached is a circled portion for you to reference. REMEDY THIS SITUATION NOW.

Adobe just push an update out and this stupid message and subject line is still in the share a copy portion. Adobe has obviously gotten too big to care about their customers. SO ANNOYING!!  FIX IT!!!!!!!!!

Adobe has made a decision, it's not going away.

You JUST pushed an iOS update and the message still continues?!??!  This is unbelievable!

I frequenlty send emails/files  via mobile phone and it's inconveient to have to delete all of this.  My version is 23.09.12 & there is no update currently available. PLEASE GET RID OF THESE MESSAGES!!!

Please fix the auto message re using Adobe Scan and the addition of the text file ASAP.  If this is not fixed, I will look for another program.  Is a time consuming annoyance to constantly delete these.  Thank you.

Here's why this issue is important to me.  I use Adobe Scan as a business tool.  My recipients are my clients, many in the corporate world.  A sales message like "get the app" is geared to a personal user.  It might be cool among a certain segment of the population whose lives revolve around social media, but that's not my demographic, nor is it the demo that can realistically afford a Creative Cloud subscription.  Not only will it have NO effect on my recipients, it's a bad look and unprofessional - this is the kind of message that appears on free software that also serves ads.  As a paid Creative Cloud subscriber, I should at minimum be able to opt out of this, if not have it disappear entirely.   You don't need stunts like this in an attempt to make more money off my client list, you've already got my subscription fee.

Thank you, yes, this is a dealbreaker for me when I am licensing the software.  There is no need for you to market your product off our activity.  These should never have been allowed to happen.
