Question

Any way to disable the automatic application filters when using Adobe Scan mobile app?

I'm using the Adobe Scan mobile app on Android, which I like a lot.  However, it automatically applies the "Auto-Color" filter to every page I scan with it, and I don't like this.

I can switch it back to "Original Color" which looks much better for me, but I have to do that for every page that I scan, which can be very tedious with multi-doc scans.

I cannot find any settings or any way to adjust this.  Is there a way I can have it use Original Color by default instead of automatically applying this Auto-Color filter?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi @Angell EYE

In the Adobe scan app whenever you scan a page, it automatically applies the Auto-color filter. But, as you want the original color filter by default, then you can try a workaround. Scan all the pages first and once you are done then tap on the filter and select the original filter and underneath that turn on the option "Apply to all pages".

Also, for any feature requests and bug logging here is a link you can refer to:  https://adobe.allegiancetech.com/cgi-bin/qwebcorporate.dll?YQWCX7

Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

Harsh

From trial and error, if there are more than n=13 images, the app keeps on crashing when I disable the filter. Anyone else having the issue?

Hi @Evelyn23958891h5zz

Please share a few more details to understand the issue better.

  1. OS version?
  2. Application version?
  3.  If possible, please share a video/screen recording of the issue.

Make sure that the app is updated to the latest version.

We are looking forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,

Harsh
