Contacts from Business Card Scans - format and storage

I'm pleased with the "Save to Contacts" feature when scanning business cards on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running 8.0 Oreo), but I need to be able to store them in my Outlook contacts folder that syncs with Outlook on my desktop (PC running Windows 10) at the office. Is there a way to change what contact account the Save to Contacts feature uses?

Hi Lisa,

Currently, the option is only available to save details from the business card to the device contact list.

There is no option to change the default location to save the contacts.

However, once the information is saved on mobile device contact list, you may export them to Outlook contact list.

You may share your suggestion on this with the team over here Scan Android Feature Request and Bug Report Form.

Hmm. The extra step will cause the whole thing to take just as long as if I'd just typed it in myself, since I then also have to move it from my own contacts to the contact list of one of the people I support as an assistant. I'll wait until there's an update that will allow further customization.

Thanks for the answer; I'm glad to know I'm not just overlooking something!
