Delete option blocked in Adobe Scan app on android (Samsung) phone

This is a new problem for me.  I've been using Adobe Scan on the same phone for a couple of years.  Previously, when I wanted to delete a scan, I had no trouble.  Now, the display of action options is different so that the delete option at the bottom of the list is blocked by the phone's open-apps button.  Here is a screenshot to show what I mean.

It's hard to see with the dark mode, but the yellow circling is where the phone's triple bar button is, the one you press to get a view of all open apps.  Here's a zoomed in version.

Even though the trash can icon is to the side of the triple-bar button, it is still not functional.

 

Basically, what I think needs to happen is Adobe Scan needs to revert to its former display of action options, so that the bottom option (here, delete) is higher up on the phone's screen.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

I reproduced the issue on my end (Samsung device) and successfully replicated it. However, I was then able to scroll up the options list, and the "Delete" option moved up a bit from phone's triple bar button and worked as expected. Please try this solution and let us know if it resolves your problem.
