Edit 'lost and found' PDF in Adobe scan

So I scanned a document today using Adobe scan using my phone, but after I saved it to by Gmail Drive I made some space on my phone and accidentaly deleted the Adobe scan folder (in Adobe scan) before I edited it. The scan settings were set to change the pages to Auto Colour instead of Original. So my conundrum is that I need the files to reflect the originals, but how do I put the saved file back into Adobe scan to change this if it is at all possible?

    Hi Annadines,

As I understand, you are trying to move the file to Adobe Scan folder again. If that is correct, it can be done via Document Cloud. Use the steps provided below:

    - Open this link https://documentcloud.adobe.com

    - Sign in with the same credentials that you use on mobile device for Adobe Scan application.

    - Upload the file to Document Cloud.

    - Select the file from the list provided under Files on Document Cloud.

    - Click on Move and select Adobe Scan.

The file will move to Adobe Scan folder and will appear under the All Scans in the mobile application. You will be able to open it on mobile application and can modify the scan.

    Hope the information helps.

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

IN SHORT: make sure scans are backed up in 2nd party software or emailed.  not SURE if iCloud automatically backs up due to security, less chosen.

Thank you for the link. It helps. However I would like to inform you and others that I lost my phone and rebooted from a iCloud backup a few days prior but the scans from a month ago and ever before 1-18 months since i started using the app, I lost data of scans. Time cards and business cards.

P.S. I enjoy the convience and ease of cataloguing.

Hi Meenaski, thank you so very much! It worked exactly as you said. I think my problem is that the initial exported file was unedited and thus Adobe Scan no longer remembers the original specks. But that's okay, nothing to be done about that. Thanks again though!!
