I have a frequent need to read image of a check, read the account number and routing number from it and type it into my bank.
For that, I need to copy the content of the check such as name, account number and routing number in text format.
Can someone please show me steps on how to achieve it using Adobe scan or Adobe acrobat pro?
Thank you.

Hi,
Adobe Scan can be saved as a PDF that will open in any PDF viewer, or you can copy the text directly.
For more information, please read the following pages.

My issue is still unresolved.
Thanks for taking time to respond to my question.
The issue is that pdf viewer or pdf writer does not extract text out of the check image. I am able to scan the check using Adobe Scan, but (after saving it as pdf) the image remains as image and no text insider the image of the check can be copied directly or in any other way.
As an example, this URL does exactly what I need, but I dont want to trust an unknown URL (compared to trustworthy Adobe products):
https://brandfolder.com/workbench/extract-text-from-image
I am having a paid subscription to Abode.

Hi @inquisitive1965,
Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!
You might want to use the Business Card feature to scan such documents.
It will help you copy any numbers that are available on the file.
Hope this helps.

Have you try Acrobat DC Pro's OCR?

However, I think that difficult to OCR hand writing text using Adobe's solutions.
