After Effects Freezes after some time with error: "Direct2D Drawbot Error. HRESULT:-2005270523"

I can't say for sure, but after two or three more recent versions of AE Beta I started to get a random error, after working for a few minutes the whole computer crashes and then this Direct2D Drawbot Error box. HRESULT:-2005270523 appears, but I can't close it, it keeps reopening endlessly and then I have to force close the program.

I've been using AE Beta since they redid the interface, it's just become another program! It's very fluid and enjoyable. I'm not using to use the retail version because he not received the interface update., but I can say that the problem is in the beta, because when i use the reail version there is no issue i don't have any errors or freezes.

Wow, I have not used AE in many, many years. I opened 2025 today, started setting up my composition and this drawbot thing just keeps popping up. A quick search brought me here and I can't believe this has been going on for over a year! There are 7 pages so far all saying the same things!

Having to disable GPU functionality is not an acceptable solution. Alter my system to make your software work? No, that's not how software development is supposed to be. It's not a user responsibility, it's Adobe's.

I guess it'll be many more years before I might open this again.

For what it's worth, here are my specs:

128gb ram

RTX 2080 Ti (drivers up to date)

I'm not really on windows anymore, this being one of the many reasons I switched over to an M4, but the only thing that stopped this for me was disabling Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling. I think adobe should focus it's resources there, I think that was a more recent change to Windows in the last few years.

This error popped up suddenly today. I tried everything like 4 hours maybe? At last switching from Studio Driver to Game driver solves my problem.

I'm keeping adobe suite only because of after effects. There are so many alternatives for the softwares. Capcut is way easier to edit some videos. Not all. And Davinci resolve can do a lot of things. Honestly if they are not going to fix this. I have no much use of adobe suite. I'll cancel my subscripiton. I do not want to pay for something isn't working.

I'm also getting the same error. I'm using some 3d layers. Some are videos, some are images. No texts yet. Not sure what't the issue. This is the error : direct 2d drawbot error hresult 20052770523.
