October was an exciting month at Adobe. MAX 2022 was a fantastic event! With 200+ sessions and hundreds of inspiring speakers, there is so much to look back at. The 2023 versions of Adobe apps, including After Effects, were released. I'm proud to share that some of the new features added to After Effects 23.0 were from the community wishlist.

This was Adobe's 20th MAX. Wow!! Did you know that?
As always, many great speakers within and outside of Adobe talked about creativity for all, increasing collaborative creativity, leveraging AI to benefit creators, and so much more. Top troubleshooting topics from October 2022
Issue: Cinema 4D doesn't work properly when installed as an add-on from the CC desktop application
Some users reported getting the following error when using Cinema 4D for the first time after installing it as an add-on:
Error: Cinema 4D must be installed in order to use the Cinema 4D renderer
Status: The After Effects team is investigating the issue.
Issue: After Effects 23.0 low memory warning
Many users have reported running into low memory issues in After Effects 23.0.
Status: This issue was first reported in After Effects 22.5, and the behavior has improved vastly in After Effects 23.0. However, there are a few scenarios where users are still running into it, especially with third-party plugins. We recommend updating the plugins.
