I've got the same problem, please let me know if you find an answer. 

Removing the after effects preferences folder doens't work for me.

I can't export videos because there's no quicktime option i can choose.

Catalina is not currently supported. You should have checked the documentation. Apple and Adobe both issued warnings. All it takes is one 32-bit component in any code to break the app. Your only option is to pick a supported format, revert your OS to the previous version, or wait for an update that fixes the problem.

Thanks Mr. Rick Gerard, I am using Catalina, and i need to export, i just can use After Effects cc 2018 but i can not render or export my work, God help us so that the update is very soon!
