Hello!

I've been working on creating a scene similar to this:

Captain America The Winter Soldier - Extended Opening Scene - OFFICIAL Marvel | HD - YouTube

(At the time 1:07)

I know how to create lighting in Adobe After Effects, but I am at a loss as how to create actual lights.(as seen on the ship).

Thank You!

you can use this plugin to simulate flares and lights. VIDEO COPILOT | After Effects Tutorials, Plug-ins and Stock Footage for Post Production Professionals and of course there are ways to do this yourself in Ae, but the first will be much easier.

Thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately, I don't have the budget to purchase that Video Copilot plugin, and I was wondering how I could do it myself. Should I just use the default Lens Flare within AE?

Thank You!
