AE 2021 Adjustment Layers are not working

Effects applied to adjustment layers in AE2021 are not effecting the underlying layer. Works like normal in AE2020 using the same file.

I added a few more FX and also screenshotted AE2020 with the same comp.

You will have to select the Adjustment Layer and reveal its properties in the Timeline. Without seeing these, it's impossible to assist you with your issue.

You'll have to provide screen grabs of your Timeline and Composition Panels. Then, reveal all properties for the Adjustment Layer, in the Timeline. This will be a good start to finding out the cause of the issue.

I just made a quick comp, it happens regardless of project. The red should be very dark with this curve.
