AE creating loads of bugs out of nowhere.

After Effects being insanely buggy - I though possibly due a project being created on PC and switched to Mac. But then I checked a project that was fine last week and that is not working now either.

I have a new M2 Max Mac running the latest AE.

All yesterday bugs kept creeping in such as:
unable to highlight layers. 
AE auto selecting layers when I move past them.
unable to highlight or move keframes.
unable to change parameters on plugins.
at one point the i renamed a comp and that neame turned up in a plugin parameter.

The person I am working with opened the same file on his PC and it works fine,.

Can you also share what OS version your M2 is running?

Thanks for writing in and sharing the details.

Are you working with multiple monitors? If so, can you disconnect the secondary monitor and test? Also, can you disable the third-party plug-ins and see if that makes any difference? To disable the plug-ins, go to Effects > Manage Effects and uncheck all the third-party plug-ins.

hey Yeah I have 2 monitors and I dont think I am using any 3rd party p;ugins any more (I swapped frishluft for camera lens blur for that reason) I am on a tight deadline so had to make a call. Utimately I rolled it back to 23 and everything went back too normal but will test these things when the project is delivered. thanks
