AFTER EFFECTS PREVIEW SCREEN ALL BLACK

Question

hi. im using a Victus by HP Gaming Laptop . Normally, i was using AE just fine. after a month of break, i open it and i can hear the voice but preview panel is completely blank, no matter what i do.

I tried many ways i saw onlibe, restarted it, cleaned the cache, enabled mercury, updated my drivers and graphics card, etc. The problem is still there. I need to use the app urgently. I Will put my laptop specs and the ae screen.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
