Bounding box is offset and not centered to my shape

Hello - when creating a shape layer or composition in my 3D space, the bounding box is off center. The shape appears to be outside of the composition it's in... If i create a basic shape outside of a comp it does the same thing. I'm working in 3D space with auto orient set to "orient toward camera" but this still shouldn't be happening. Seems like a bug?
