Hi,

I have an Intel core i3-4150 3.5GHz processor

4GB of Ram and an ordinary HDD.

Can I do heavy works in After Effect CC2017

If not, then I want to upgrade it to 10 to 16 GB of ram

and also want to install a SSD.

Is it possible to do heavy work then????

If you have any better suggestion then please let me know.

Thank you.

Correct answer Peru Bob

You won't be able to run it with only 4 GB RAM and that processor.

You don't even meet the minimum requirements (which are really not enough to run it comfortably).

I have used After Effects CS6 on Intel Pentium 4 with 4gb of RAM with no graphic card and I have used it for more than 2 years was able to pull off some projects features like 3d was not supported but it worked nicely on my system.

No. you can NOT run After Effects on your machine.  You need a new.more modern computer.  You will need at least 16 GB RAM.  You will also want at least a 512 GB SSD drive in addition to your system drive for caching.
