Question

Can't see my imported videos

Hello,

I have a problem with my Adobe After Effect and Rush: When I create a new project and import a mp4 video inside it, I can hear their audio, but I can't see the video.

On after effect, the video is completely green and on Rush, there's nothing...

Do you have any idea ?

Thanks

Also try to stop the GPU accelerator, Go to File/Project settings/Video Rendering and Effects/use mercury software only

Nothing changed after selecting "use mercury software only"...

It stills completely green...

I see a problem, but it may not correct the green image -- the video is all VARIABLE frame rate.  I suspect it was shot on a phone.

After Effects does not perform well with variable frame rate footage.  You can use Adobe Media Encoder to convert these clips to a fixed frame rate, but the motion in the video may not be correct.  While you are converting it, you can also convert it to a different codec... which may solve the green video problem.

The ONLY good solution for variable frame rate footage is to not shoot in a variable frame rate.  There are apps that force phones to shoot at fixed frame rates.  You should use one.

Hello,

The issue seems related to the graphic card. I would recommend you update the driver to the latest.

Where are you sourcing the video files from?

If you import a video into After Effects and select it in the Project window, the top part of that window will tell you properties of the clip.   Please tell us what it says for one of the problem clips, or post a screenshot.

The source of my video's my Desktop.

Here's a screenshot of the clip properties :
