Hi Rajat,
what are your render settings and in what file format do you render the animation? Again, the question: Do the colors still look different when you import the rendered video back into AE?
It could perhaps be due to the format. For example, when rendering H264 or Quicktime, it's not uncommon for the colors to look a bit washed out.
Try rendering the animation as an image sequence (e.g. PNG) and see if the colors are different then.
Hope this helps

Hello Melanie
I am rendering the videos using media encoder and the output settings are h.264 , vbr pass 1, and the size i want, needs to be below 2 mb.  So here is the image , the 1st one is quicktime player , 2nd is the work space and 3rd is the rendered video in the workspace

Hi Rajat,

thank you for the Screenshots. Looks like the colors just "seem to be wrong" in the output, because when you put it back to AE, it looks like the same colors, doesn't it? Colors in AE sometimes look very crispy and I'm also a bit coinfused sometimes that it looks washed out in the output format. Still, in my experience, the colors usually look ok again once the video is fed into another program.

What you show there looks like some kind of splash or achievement screen for an app or game. Is that right? For this, it would probably be advisable to output the animation as a Lottie or PNG sequence anyway. Have you tried that?

Hey Rajat,

I have shifted this post to discussions for troubleshooting. Which After Effects version are you working on (Help > About After Effects)? Do you also see the color difference if you import the exported video back to your After Effects timeline? We're here to help.

Thanks,

Ishan
