Composition Size is Wrong

Hello, 

I've been having an issue where the size / resolution of my composition does not correspond at all to what I enter when I create a a new composition or change my composition settings.

As an example, below I entered a 800x800 pixels (i.e. a 1:1 aspect ratio, or a SQUARE) composition, and instead am getting the following composition artboard that is cleary not 800x800 pixels and is not a 1:1 square aspect ratio.

Please help. This has suddently becoming a recurring problem over the last month or so wherein ALL of my compition sizes do not match my desired settings (either in preview or in export).
