could not launch adobe analysis server...

Hey all. Trying to use the 3D camera tracker in AE and I keep getting the "could not launch adobe analysis server" error. I'm trying to track a 1080 prores clip on a late 2013 MacPro running Mojave and the latest AE build.

 

Any thoughts?

    If the background app isn't launching, and you have plenty of free resources then I would use the Creative Cloud App to uninstall AE and then re-install it. Sometimes something gets fouled up in the install.

    Before I can do that (the computer is outputting some large files) I tried the same job on my iMac. Granted, it's not the newest iMac on the world, but I got the same "could not launch adobe analysis server" error as with my beefy trashcan. Does this have something to do with...the INTERNET?

    The background app has nothing to do with the internet. Make sure AE is up to date.
