Does AE use CPU and RAM only for playback and render/export? Not use GPU?

Dear community,

Since i used AE, i never see my AE work with GPU. While playback and render/export, it always use 100% CPU and RAM only.

My Premiere pro and Media encoder can use GPU well.

Any profesional can explain about this? thanks.

Without any system information we cannot tell you why AE is not using your GPU.

That's not ideal.

Please share your system specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, OS version). Details on the project you're testing After Effects on. What are the details of the media and effects used in the project?

Please make sure that GPU drivers are updated.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Nishu
