Error after effects this ‘.heic’ file is damaged or unsupported

Question

Hi folks, colud you please help me with this? I have an active Adobe's subscription and the HEVC -  HEIF extensions in Windows 11, besides my After Effects is up to date, but the app is still giving me the error messages. Any help? Thanks in advance.

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
