Hello. English not very good. Sorry.

 

New learner.

How to convert stroke/path to shape like in this photo. This photo is illustrator but how to do for After Effect. Thank you much.

I think the closest option you could experiment with would be to precompose your stroked shape, and then use Layer > Auto-Trace.  This will create a new layer with a mask in the shape of the overall shape.  It's not always great for straight lines, but it's the only way I can think of to get the end result you're after.

    That is what I had tried to do initially, but I didn't get the perfect vertex adjustment I longer for. I eventually had to just draw the shape I wanted.

    There is no such function in AE. You may want to read the online help.
