how to automatically add anchor points on a shape
Hello forum.
Is there any method in AE to automatically add anchor points like in AI has this option?

No. It's all down to mask/ shape editing tools or using scripts. AE is not a vector drawing tool, after all. If complex path editing required, the typical way to do it is to create the artwork in AI and then copy & paste it over or import, anyway.
