How to change size of layer element in after effects

There is no direct option to change the size of the image pixel or any other unit wise. YOu can create a composition to the preferred size and scale your image by adding that image into the composition. For example, if you want the png to be 375X375. Create a composition in that size and drage the png image into that composition and scale it to that size or use Fit to comp option. But when you do it in this way, the quality of the image will come down. It is always a good practice to bring in the image in the preferred size to avoid such quality issues when you scale it up.

I am not sure what panel you are talking about. Right-clicking in the Project Panel will give you the opportunity to edit the composition settings. The Modes or the Switches column must be visible in the Timeline if you want to edit the values on any layer or effect property that you can animate. The first two icons at the bottom left corner of the timeline can turn on or off both of those columns. The Learn Workspace has a bunch of project and tutorial panels on the far left. If you were working in any of the other workspaces, you can use the Reset option to get them back to normal.
