Hi folks in the community. I wonder How to create a conical / cone gradient in After Effects. I have searched the web but everything is Illustrator or Photoshop oriented. I tried with shape that has a conical gradient from Illustrator, but it seems that After Effects isn't making a proper color render showing a linear gradient.

Could you please help?.

You can also try to add a Gradient Overlay as a Layer Style. One of the options is to create an angular gradient, and then you can set the colors and positions as you want.

Create a linear gradient and transform it with the Polar Coordinates effect..
