How to create a stinger/invert colour text swipe effect?

Hello, I'm new to AE and I've been wanting to create this stinger transition like invert colour shine effect.

I understand this is probably difficult to comprehend, so I've started a video of the effect I'm trying to achieve and what I have to work with,

I've watched tutorials on how to do the shine effect, linear swipe and stinger transition, but I still can't comprehend how to make this effect with in the text if that makes sense.

Hi Axel23691437xoku,
