How to edit/delete the time duration from an image in AE?

I'm woring with a tutorial from LinkedIn Learning, I just worked out that my TIFF image is importing into my comp with a time duration so that when I try to move the time indicator bar, the image disappears. I can't find a setting to import this image without the time duration. How do you import an image without a time duration or how do you edit a photo that has a time duration?

One photo shows the image from the completed project provided by LinkedIn Learning and other as it appears on my computer. Screen Shot 2021-09-22 at 12.05.25.pngScreen Shot 2021-09-22 at 12.05.44.png

I think I see the problem.  The tutorial looks like it has labled its images with something like "Sources-01.png","Sources-02.png" etc...  The problem is AE has interpreted that as an image sequence and not as separate images, so each image is only one frame long.

Right-click on the Sources file and choose "Reveal in Explorer". This will open your computer's file browser to the location of the image.  You can now drag in the individual images or in the File menu, when you choose Import, be sure to uncheck the PNG Sequence option:
