Missing effect in After Effects?

Hi,

 

I've recently changed computers with my brother and can't seem to work AE as I used to on my old computer. This error message appears when I download any AE template from Motion Array.

 

Do I need to find these missing effects somewhere online and install them? Different templates have different missings effects, so would I need to download them every time I use a new template?

Mylenium is right on the money. Templates will also list any non-standard plugins needed, so make sure to read carefully before downloading.

    Trapcode Particular is a commercial third-party plug-in. You need to purchase it if you actually want to render projects using these effects without limitations. Otherwise you can download a demo version from Red Giant's web store that will have a watermark. Rinse-repeat for other effects - the demos will have watermarks or time limits and you would need to buy them for serious work.
