Hi there, i am making a school work project and am stuck on how to do a particle drop effect.

the clossest example i found on youtube is the one bellow the effect in question is arround second 0:05, were a circle goes up then down, and when it finishes the down part of the animation it kinda sprays some squares, circles and triangles.

How was that made ??? particle effect ?? Also was that bounciness and squishiness of the ball a effect as well ? or manualy made ?

Probably 100% hand animation with a few layers. The rest is just experience in animation timing and keyframing. I can't see anything in there that looks liek a genuine particle effect.
