Puppet tool leaving lines

Hi, I'm trying to recreate this animation using puppet tool but after using puppet pins and animating the wok, it left behind dash lines when I play the animation. How can I fix this?

You need to expand the grid. Try searching "puppet pin" in the Search Help field at the top right corner of After Effects. You should find instructions on how to use the tool in the Help files.
