Unable to execute script at line.1 undefined is not an object

Hi there,

I've just updated to 2019 on windows 10 64 bit, and everytime I start AE I get this warning.....

Unable to execute script at line.1 undefined is not an object

It takes multiple clicks to close down the pop up window but there doesnt seem to be an issue with my file or anything missing. It's just annoying and although everything looks okay, obviously something isnt.

Many thanks

The error Unable to execute script at line.1 undefined is not an object comes from an AE script (or extension, for that matter). The best way to hunt down what script/extension is causing this is to remove all your scripts and extensions from AE and add them back one by one until you start getting this error.

Cheers Tomas. I'll look into that.  Fortunately Im only running three extensions so won't take me long 🙂 Thanks for reply to my post

It appears the issue below only arises if I open a project by right clicking on the AE icon on my taskbar and select a project file from there. If I open AE and then File>Open Project.... it opens without any issue.

Would still be interested to know if anyone else has had this issue and if they found a root cause
