Video player for rendered projects

Hi, Any recomendations for video player software for Mac?
I've been using VLC media player, creating playlists of  files for my projector.
There must be better software to use when projecting my projects to an audience.
I find VLC clumsy to use.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

The best player depends on the audience. I use Apple's Keynote and Share Screen most of the time and I bring my own Apple TV. I also plug in a Thunderbolt to HDMI and cable directly to a projector that mirrors my display or uses it as a second display. Never needed to fiddle with anything else unless the venu had a specialized system.

Thanks! I wasn't aware of Keynote, truthfully. I'll give that a try.
I do a lot of projection mapping, working primarily with After Effects.
I run my projector from HDMI on my MacBook. VLC media player in full screen mode, but there must be a better procedure. Thanks for responding!

Even the Quicktime player will run full screen.

With Keynote, you can have a borderless presentation that moves from one video to the next with a single mouse click. You can even throw in slides. Keynote is a lot like Power Point but I think it is a lot easier to use.
