Wiggler expression not working in After Effects

The wiggler in After Effects does not appear to be working. I apply it, the keyframes show but no movement is applied. Any ideas anyone?

    The Wiggler works when you have at least 2 keyframes associated to some properties (not all properties work with the Wiggler)

    I know that I am using The Wiggler correctly. I have used it many times before successfully. Presently it is working intermittently so there is obviously an issue with it on my system for some reason.

    There is no rhyme or reason as to when it works and when it doesn't. I apply it to a layer successfully. I then delete that layer and repeat exactly the same steps again, and it doesn't work. It doesn't work more often than it does, in fact, I have only got it working successfully today twice out of 18 times of trying. It's very frustrating.


    There is likely miscommunication over here - initially you said there were keyframes. Then you said you used an Expression and not the Keyframe Assistant and not the Wiggler Panel. You ended with using the Expression - can you post the actual Expression you used and when you say it's not working, you should describe the behavior you are receiving and the expected behavior and of course specify which property is involved.

      You have to be much more specific about where you apply the expression, what version of AE you use, system info, preview settings and whatnot.

      AE CC 2018  Mac OS Sierra version 10.12.6   It's the 'Wiggler" expression that is in the presets down the right hand side (just above 'mask interpolation'. I'm trying to apply it to an ai layer. I just opened up a new project, tried it, and it worked! but now when I tried it again, it isn't working again
