Wrapping an object/image/ai file around a cylinder but without perspective

what i mean is i want to create a revolving 2D object but without perspective

That means i need the object revolving around but not in space like a fake 3D

i need the rotation on the X axis but not On the y. Is it possible?

    Have you tried the CC Cylinder effect over your layer? I think is a good option for that. On the other hand, you also can create a real 3D cylinder or a blended plane with the Cinema 4D Lite included in your After Effects subscription.

    I tried the cc cylinder but that gives me a sort of 3D cylinder that i cant even transform. That is the result, but that is not good enough. I need that logo to revolve but without changing its scale(i mean height) while revolving. Its hard to explain but i try it anyway.

    Then you need to create a Plane in Cinema 4D Lite and use the Bend Deformer to do this. Also, there is a third party plugin form Boris FX called BCC Cylinder (part of the Continuum Complete bundle) than can wrap and unwrap a layer using a cylinder.
