More control over what layer controls are hidden

I'd really like more control over what is and isn't hidden. Right now it's show everything or show nothing. It's so annoying, especially when doing anything with character rigging or Collapse Transformations, that I see a bewildering amount of boxes around every signle object.

Just a little toggle like the shy guy to show/hide layer controls for a specific layer.

It's a Comp Setting. It's a lot to have to set these on a per layer basis. FWIW, locked layers won't show their handles - so, maybe this might alleviate the frustration?

No, because I want to select which layers show the handles and which don't.

If it is, the default Shortcut is CTRL + SHIFT + H (I think - it's been ages since I changed this to SHIFT + H). You can also access this with a Right-Click on the Comp Name at the top-left of Comp Panel.
