error: this application failed to start because no qt platform plugin could be initialized
hello,
i installed Newton 3 plugin and when I tried to open it on After effects this msg appeared
any idea how to fix it ?

Can you tell us the version of After Effects that you're using? FAQ: How to find the exact version of After Effect... - Adobe Support Community
If it happened after installing the Newton 3 plugin, then it's most likely the plugin that's causing the crash. I'd suggest two things:
- Uninstall the plugin
- Contact the plugin manufacturer and check if the plugin is compatible with your version of After Effects
