Smooth Transitions for New Punch n Roll (non-destructive or destructive) Feature!

The new Punch & Roll feature is great. However, there is one tweak that needs to happen, soon. You shouldn't have to "fade-in" a clip in multitrack to make the "punch-in" transition smooth. The automatic crossfade should work like it did before in multitrack. You also shouldn't have to go back and smooth over punch & roll sections in the waveform editor. For long form narration, this adds editing time which PnR was designed to reduce.

Yes! It is quite exciting that Adobe has finally added this very important function to Audition, but without the crossfades, it's still useless to anyone producing long-form audio narration.
I'll continue to use Travis Baldree's extension with the 2017 Audition (the extension doesn't work with anything later than CC 2017).
It simply adds too much time to go back and smooth over the punch points. Time is money.
Thank you for making a native PnR, but please add the auto fades!
