Hi updated to latest version and got this message on opening "“Adobe Bridge 2025” is damaged and can’t be opened."" Help anyone?

Hi Vince. I discovered the problem was Macs security settings. It would not allow the upgrade to run saying it was corrupted.  Solution: Settings > Privacy & Security > Security - "Allow applications from" . This was blocking the upgrade from running insisting it was corrupted. I allowed the application (Bridge) and its run perfrctly since.

Why on earth doesn't Adobe fix this stupid bug? It's happened to me twice now. Super annoying. Counter intuitive. Certainly worth the $60/month I pay for the full set of apps.

Have you tried refreshing your preferences:

Just before clicking on Bridge in the Dock or double-clicking the application for the Mac, press Command-Option-Shift. For PCs, press Control-Alt-Shift. Then open Bridge BUT KEEP your fingers on those keys until you see a window pop up. From the window, the options are: “Reset Preferences" and "Purge All Local Cache Files.” In your case, check both of them.

Thanks Gary, if it happens again, I'll try that.

I have exactly the same problem, screen shot is the same. What does the greyed out part of the message mean, (This file was downloaded on unknown date)

Seems to have started with the latest update on my 2019 27" Imac.

Working fine up until then

Hi Paul.

Thanks for your reply.

When I open Settings>Privacy & Security>Security I only have these 2 options, nothing else.

See screen shot.

Vince
