Adobe Bridge extremely slow and not letting my use Nvidia Driver, please help?

I am currently using Bridge v 14.1.0.257 and it is very slow to load and generate thumbnails for my Nikon z9 and z8 RAW files. Also, the program is only accessing my on board Intel UHD GPU and not my Nvidia RTX 3060.

The process is so slow that the program is freezing up and sometimes Blue screening the PC. I'm useing a 11th gen intel i7  -11800 @ 2.30GHz.

Need some suggestions of where to go from here to help speed up Adobe Bridge and get it to load these thumbnail files faster with out crashing.

Thank you

Mark

You can specify the preferred graphics processor to use from the NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Preferred graphics processor setting.

You can also disable the onboard or integrated graphics using Windows Device Manager. (Can be easily accessed by pressing Windows Key + R and typing devmgmt.msc ) You will find it under Display adaptors.

OMG! Thank you very much!
I was ready to post a question involving super-slow image rendering on my Lenovo laptop but disabling the Intel onboard video driver has totally solved the problem! I was actually contemplating buying a new computer because it was taking an eternity for Bridge to show me enough details to make a keep/delete decision on every blasted RAW image.

Eirk, you just saved me a couple of thousand bucks!

That's great news!
